A History of AngioSystems

In 1984, Dave and Marci Hopkins decided to start a medical manufacturing business that was committed to producing top-quality, American-made products while providing jobs for American families. Together with the help of several of their children AngioSystems opened in May, 1984 in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

After achieving much success and in need of a larger facility, AngioSystems relocated to Ducktown, Tennessee in 1991. Ducktown is two hours north of Atlanta and close to the Ocoee River that runs through the Smokey Mountains and was the site of the whitewater rafting events during the 1996 Olympics.

Over thirty years later the medical industry has changed and companies have come and gone, AngioSystems continues to thrive by meeting and listening to the individual needs of each facility and each doctor we work with to provide top-quality customized products. By remaining attentive to the needs of our end users, AngioSystems provides products that other manufacturers are either too big to make or cannot provide the necessary quality at an affordable price.

Today, three generations of the Hopkins family are working at AngioSystems including several children and grandchildren. AngioSystems remains committed to providing the highest quality customized products to our customers. We are extremely grateful and honored to serve the hospitals, clinics, and doctors who use our products daily in their medical procedures. We are indebted to our customers that have been with us since 1984, and likewise appreciative to the new ones who choose us each month.
